NTC temperature sensor changing to F10A mainfold

Beitragvon crisofilax » Donnerstag 28. Februar 2008, 13:06

Hey everybody!!! as I wrote I had a lot of problems with my ex-carburator, so I decided changing it. I installed a F10 carburetor instead of the original one, so I had to change too the aspiration mainfold. Now the car runs really better and it does not contamine the air.

The problem I have is that the new mainfold has a different temperature sensor with another temperature coefficient and another diameter. It's not compatible with the panel inside the car.
Before starting enginnering a solution such as a wetstone bridge or something, I would like to ask what did you on your LJ?

Most of you are using the F10A engine with the original pt100, what's your sollution??

Best regards and thenks for answering!!!!

Hi Adrian
I had no Problem with Temperature sender. The only Part I needed was a nipple for Choke-cable. Perhaps you have a Santana Intake and Carburator? I think thats similar to the japanese F10A.
Can you post a picture?
Best Regards
Stefan

Are you using the original pipe to joint the carburator with the engine?? or you use the santana one? Maybe the sensor is different on the santana's.

For the choke I used an electric connector tighten with it's screw.... is a nice sollution...

Thanks for answering, I'll take some pictures this afternoon.

Best regards!!
